The encouraging power of prophetic word

This week I received this prophetic word from someone gifted in a prophetic healing ministry:

“Hi. I want to give you some words of encouragement. I found myself praying for you this morning at 6.30am. You are a strong and courageous woman. There is nothing that is impossible for you with God beside you. When it looks at its worst, don’t give up. The breakthrough is just around the corner. Release yourself from the pressure and expectation that others put on you. Now be set free in the name of Jesus Christ. You only have to worry about what God is saying, not man. May you be blessed and go in peace.”

This word arrived on Messenger while I was attending Jill’s dad’s funeral. I was already feeling the weight of church finances and the responsibility I felt, and still feel, was enormous. But God sends just the right person, with just the right words, to lift us up when we are feeling discouraged.

So can I encourage you to share words of encouragement that God gives you for other people. We are often unaware in the natural of what others are going through. Don’t second-guess promptings you receive from the Lord to visit someone or share prophetic insight. You may just be that angel-in-disguise for a needy soul.
