Connect Playgroup
A Place to Connect
The aim of our Connect Playgroup is to provide a place for parents, caregivers and their children to meet on a weekly basis in a friendly and fun environment. We have been running since 1985 and are part of Manukau Baptist Community Trust. We are a Ministry of Education registered playgroup.
Our semi-structured programme seeks to provide a mixture of learning and play opportunities aimed at fostering our children’s social and developmental skills in a positive environment of love and acceptance. Coupled with this Connect Playgroup is a supportive environment for parents and caregivers as they take time out to relax and connect with other parents and caregivers.
We operate based on Christian values affirming that all people are created in God’s image, are loved by God, that God is not far from any one of us, for in Him we live and move and have our being.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do. Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
