Can you see me? :
The lonely man sat on a rock by the creek
His face told of companionship lost
If only the birds and the water could speak
They’d tell him that Christ paid the cost.
They’d tell him how beautifully he was made
And that God has a purpose for him
They’d share in a love that never would fade
And brighten the light that is dim.
“Can you see me?” the lonely man asked in a prayer
“I can,” said a voice from the rear.
That angel disguised, was me standing there
“I see you. I notice. I care.”
