Life through the Spirit (Romans 8) | October 22nd

24/10/2017 By Pastor Julie

  • The Law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from sin and death (Ro 8:2)
  • Believers live according to the Spirit, not the flesh (Ro 8:4)
  • Those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires (Ro 8:5)
  • The mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace (Ro 8:6)
  • You are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you (Ro 8:9)
  • The Spirit gives life because of righteousness (Ro 8:10)
  • The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you (Ro 8:11)
  • We have an obligation to live by the Spirit and put to death the misdeeds of the body (Ro 8:12-13)
  • Those led by the Spirit are children of God (Ro 8:14)
  • The Spirit releases us from living in fear (Ro 8:15)
  • The Spirit brought about our adoption into God’s family (Ro 8:15)
  • The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children (Ro 8:16)
  • The Spirit helps us in our weakness (Ro 8:26)
  • The Spirit intercedes for us through wordless groans (Ro 8:26)
  • The Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God (Ro 8:27)

AND THAT’S THE TRUTH!

About Pastor Julie

I’m passionate about the church – building believers up in their faith, to be all God intended them to be; and I’m passionate about sharing the love and hope of Jesus with people who don’t know Him yet.
