The various facilities can be used on their own, or in conjunction with other facilities where this is appropriate. All together it makes an excellent conference facility. There is on-site parking for 50 cars, and plenty of additional roadside parking in close proximity. (There is very easy paraplegic access to everything except the chapel.)
This was opened in October 2005, and can seat around 220 people. It has a pleasant modern decor and good acoustics (although a sound system is necessary for larger numbers of people). There is a fairly large raised (60cm) stage (approx 40 m2) at the front.
The café/hall area is actually our old auditorium. It is spacious (about 130 m2) and ideal for informal mingling before and after an event in the new main auditorium, which runs straight off it. The café/hall area can be used in its own right by slightly smaller groups – especially those who need space that is suitable for some sort of activity. The area is furnished with table and chairs to give a café style appearance.
The kitchen has a servery that opens to the café/hall area, and is ideal for serving ordinary tea and instant coffee, (or for preparing food).
